    Default 'Sports' transfer box.

My cally turbo has a bearing gone in either the gearbox or transfer box. As I replaced the transfer box with a reconditioned unit just over 12 months ago I'll not be too chuffed if its gone again.
If it is the transfer box then I intend replacing it with a 'sports box' from Richard at Cav16.
What I'd like to know from anyone who has fitted this box is how the handling has been affected by the different options of torque split.
Also has everyone opted for the full 180Nm or have chosen something betwwen the standard 90Nm and the max 180Nm..
It would be interesting compare the handling between these extremes.

    Replies pls.

Not sure how much he got but a guy who logs in under Bennymac36 has one of these.

The maximum torque is upto 200Nm AFAIK.

    yes thats me !!
The handling is better when i am pushing hard although the car does still understeer just as before.
i chose the highest torque split since i am at nearly 300 bhp at flywheel and thats the highest rating they have unless you choose the racing box.
The service was superb though i was very impressed and i am not the easiest person to please you know lol.
I havent had the car ran up on the rollers yet to see the split but i will do soon i hope.

    Hi,

Got a "sports box", from CAV 16, in mid January.

Service second to none, Quality all the way. Reccomended
    Also bought new accumulator.

As far as handling is concerned, rear end a little looser when really pushing it, but predictable, I like it!

Some, not off the shelf engine mods come summer, hence "sports box" for peace of mind.
